Davis Nelson and BananaJerry Garcia's (Grateful Dead) former band mate and Youngbloods founding member join forces for their first ever European show!
David Nelson was a founding member of 'The New Riders of the Purple Sage' and spent a number of years working as Jerry Garcia's partner in the 'Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band' whilst Banana was a founding member of 'The Youngbloods' (Darkness Darkness / Get Together). Between them they have nearly eighty years professional playing experience and are both world class musicians. Touring as an acoustic duo with a repertoire that covers Country Blues, Bluegrass,Traditional Country all with a little psychedelia thrown into the mix (and a few of their own classics). This will be the first show that they have ever played together in Europe. As an added bonus for anybody that is interested in such things, Banana will be playing his 5 string tenor guitar of which there are only two others in existence. A show not to be missed!!! Please email music@greennote.co.uk for tickets.
